      It is the hungry dance between what will come, and what must, but does not want to leave. Multiple-mouthed Ouroboros seeking eternity, while relentlessly and obsessively, hunting and chewing on every fragment of its past. Hungry Ghost by Guido Devadder (director) and Kaitlin McSweeney (music) is a single, indivisible piece of a dark, hypnotic lullaby. The strongly organic visuals oscillate between the human, and that which grows in the unconscious, but doesn't want to be seen. McSweeney's voice embalms us and prepares us for an inevitable finitude, where pain is as optional as maintaining our childish fears. Hungry Ghost is a beautiful, mature, melancholic and elegant work.
